It must be about 3 weeks until Alfa’s in Clover at Bonython Park on Sunday March 13^th, so you are probably flat out preparing your car for this Annual Event and the judging in the trophy divisions. We have hoped that a colour advertisement, thanks to behind the scenes helpers will also be included in your journal and this, will entice you more. Be there after 10.30 and stay for the day.

 Also it is heartening to see 30 club members interested in being in the Progressive dinner on April 2^nd, so far.  No more than 50 please!

 You will remember from our last Progressive that although starting at an early evening time, it got dark very quickly, so for this year we have moved the event to a well lit location. Time to be there is between 5.15 and 5.45 on the Saturday afternoon for the entrée and daiquiri’s.

Not wishing to be late for dinner we will depart about 7.30. The main course is at your expense at the chosen location with either Indian or Thai flavours. Again not lingering too long we will need to enjoy and then depart for our dessert destination. This year we will enjoy the dainty delights of home cooking from our members, nightcaps and coffees while appreciating the ambience and a shed visit.

 More special news is that you could keep your weekend of June 4+5 free, to join in our Railriding DriveAway. This weekend is prior to the Queens Birthday long weekend, allowing you to party twice.

 The plan is to drive up Friday after work alone or as convoys to meet at the destination, enjoy a late dinner and excellent chatter, wake up later and breakfast,  then ride the rails to our lunch stop. The after lunch ride returns us to pick up the cars and proceed onto our Saturday evening stay and dinner. Sunday morning is even later, deciding your own entertainment, or wandering before heading for home. Costs and schedule in my next articles.
